The Wytron CD-268 is a top of the range standalone tower CD duplicator unit with exceptional reliability and support. The CD268 controller is capable of simultaneously writing to fourteen CD's directly from a single master CD. As with most of the Wytron units, it allows the user to add an optional hard disc. The hard disc option also allows the user to store CD images and repeatedly duplicate directly from the hard disc. Much like the multi-target IDE unit (CD-398), it is remarkably easy to use. Simply insert the master disc into the reader, blank media into the writers and simultaneous duplication starts without any further manual intervention. The unit is available as a a ready-to-use duplicator (i.e. fully populated) or as a bare controller board. The MagicCD CD-268 is compatible with different CD formats such as Mode 1 (e.g. Data), Mode 2 (e.g. VCD), Music CD, CD-Plus etc. and is compatible with a range of SCSI writers up to speeds of 16x. |
