SCSI SCA Converter Technical Summary (with Termination)


This device converts SCA 80 pin to 68 pin (SCSI-3) and 50 (SCSI-2) pin headers and also includes optional termination. It is typically used to connect the latest SCSI devices, such as hard drives, to a SCSI controller card or cabling. See our full range of SCSI accessories

Jumper Settings Descriptions (1-6)
1. TPR Termination Power.
2. DLY Start Delay
3. REM RMT Start
4. LED LED.
5. SNC Synchronous.
6. SNC Synchronous. Used as a wire harness connection for a remote reference index signal for the spindle sync. feature.
The method of starting the drive motor is established by DLY & RMT signals.

ononDrive start-up is delayed 12 seconds.

SCSI ID Settings Chart (7-10)
It is possible to set the SCSI ID for your device from ID #0 to #15. This is achieved by jumper settings on pins 7 (ID0), 8 (ID1), 9 (ID2) and 10 (ID3), as shown below.
