SCSI SCA Converter Technical Summary (for use with LVD devices)

This device converts SCA 80 pin to 68 pin (SCSI-3) and 50 (SCSI-2) pin headers and includes termination. It will interface LVD capable peripherals with an SCA connector to a 68pin or 50pin internal SCSI cable. The SCA adapter has built in termination, which can be enabled or disabled by means of a jumper setting.

Our LVD SCA adapter will allow LVD enabled peripherals to achieve transfer rates of up to 80 Mb/s, providing that a suitable LVD internal cable and LVD SCSI controller card are used in conjunction with the peripheral. See our full range of SCSI accessories

Standard SCA Adapter (without termination) and SCA Adapter (with termination) are also available for non-LVD capable devices. Users should note that the standard SCA adapters will also work with LVD capable peripherals, but will not work at full speed.
