Description |
This SATA backplane is designed to be fit into 3 spare 5.25" bays in your case.
Once installed it allows users to fit up to four 3.5" SATA hard disk drives into the hot swappable bays. |

- Allows users to install up to four 3.5" SATA Hard disk drives with easy drive access and replacement.
- Aluminium design with good heat dissipation characteristics.
- Designed for both SATA II and SATA I hard disk drives.
- High performance transfer rate for speeds up to 300Mb per second.
- Supports hot swap and plug & play.
- Supports Raid 0,1,5 functions providing that a suitable host controller is used.
- 8 cm cooling fan for ventilation and heat dissipation.
- User selectable FAN RPM high or low setting.
- Overheat Alarm with reset switch to warn user of drive overheating.
- LED Indicator to warn users of bay fan failure.

- LED indicators for Power and HDD access to each bay.
- Balance handling - No skew in/out. Mimimises wear on the hard drive and bay connectors.
- Safety locking feature on each individual bay to prevent accidental release.
- Power can be turned on or off to each of the four bays provided.
Power can be provided by either two four-pin power cables or by two 15-pin SATA power cables.
4 x SATA data cables and screws are supplied in the retail package.
