Description |
This storage solution allows users to connect up to five SATA hard disk drives to a PC through a single e-SATA cable.
Up to five SATA hard disk drives can be easily installed into the individual mobile racks to create a cheap, fast external storage solution which in practice is at least 4 to 5 times faster than USB2.0 or Firewire 1394A.
Installing drives into this case is very easy, as removable racks are provided.
The case supports also supports RAID 5 provided that a compatible controller card is used. This item is available in Beige or Black. |

Main Features |
- Supports up to four SATA 1(1.5Gb/s) or SATA 2 (3Gb/s) HDD's.
- Supports large HDD drives over 137Gb - as well as smaller drives.
- Supports multiple operation modes: Five separate disks, Multiple Jbod confugurations, 1 combined disk (Five drive JBOD), Raid 0,1,5 support (provided that a suitable raid 5 controller is used).
- Five alumium framed hotswappable, fan cooled removable racks are fitted-for easy user installation of hard disk drives.
- Each Mobile rack has its own 4cm cooling fan to ensure cool hard drive operating temperatures.
- HDD power lock to ensure the HDD are in correct postion, and that the rack cannot be accidentally removed whilst HDD is in use.
