Description |
This product connects to a free internal SATA port and presents an external 7-pin eSATA port. The eSATA port is mounted on a L-shaped bracket that is designed to fit into a PC chassis slot. Note: Does not require the use of a PCI (or other card) slot on your mainboard.
Typically this product is used to enable users to connect external SATA I devices to their SATA host controller card using a free internal SATA port.
