Description |
Our new generation of external storage cases are ideal for housing a standard 5.25" internal IDE device (such as a DVD-Rom or DVD writer etc.) and enabling connection to a PC, laptop or Mac system at high-speed via USB 2.0 or Firewire 1394 standards.
They are excellent for turning an internal device into an external device. When installing a 5.25" device, no additional mounting kits are required. The case has an integrated 4cm cooling fan.
The item is retail boxed and includes everything you need to build a portable 5.25" device, except the device itself. It includes external box, mounting screws, power cables (UK), USB 2.0 cable, Firewire Cable, user manual, assembly sheet and a driver CD. This case does not include a blanking plate, so is not suitable for housing a 3.5" device, such as a hard drive. |
