DescriptionThese enclosures allow users to enclose multiple IDE hard disk drives in one external enclosure. The resulting drives can be connected to a PC via a single USB 2.0 cable. This solution can support large drives, potentially easily creating over two terrabytes of external storage through USB2.0.
The enclosure can support a maximum of four 500Gb IDE 3.5" hard disk drives, which can be operated as:- Four separate HDDs on one USB cable.
- Two sets of two HDD, (two JBOD drives -each JBOD uses two HDD's to form two larger JBOD HDD's).
- One single drive which is roughly the capacity of the four individual drives put together. (Four drive JBOD).
Hard disk drives are not included.
