DescriptionThis PCI-X card can use used to upgrade your PC to provide four 3 Gbps (300 MB/s) external SATA II ports (eSATA). Each eSATA port supports NCQ, port multiplier, Raid 5, Raid 1, Raid 1+0, Raid 1, Raid 0 and JBOD.
RAID 0 (Striping), RAID 1 (Mirroring), RAID 1+0 (striping-mirroring), RAID 5 (Distributed Parity RAID) and JBOD (Just Bunch of Disks) manages multiple disk drives to enhance I/O performance and provide redundancy in order to withstand the failure of any individual member, without the loss of data.
