Following CE and RoHS approvals, Starmount announce the release of a number of new USB and SD duplicators. These new "combo" duplicators are stand-alone and can copy both USB memory sticks and Secure Digital (SD) cards. These high-speed duplicators feature a powerful feature set, whilst remaining easy to use. Pass and failed copies are clearly shown using red and green visual indicator lights. Designed with maintenance in mind, the units feature modular individual ports which are easily replaced.

Starmount launch new range of Hard Drive Duplicators
|
Starmount introduce two new hard drive duplicators - the DW-121 and the DW-122.
The DW-121 is a 1:1 IDE/SATA/SSD Hard Disk Duplicator and the DW-122 is a 1:2 model. Both models are designed for low-volume usage, for higher volume throughput our HD-4 and HD-12 models are still unbeatable value.
These two models replace the older AU-100S HDD duplicator, which has now been discontinued. |

Starmount announce new DVD/CD duplication technology in Burn-Rite duplicators.

Starmount has added a new range of Burn-Rite Firefly DVD duplicator systems and Burn-Rite Flexicopy DVD duplicator systems which support DirectFlash (tm) technology.
This new technology will allow users to upgrade the firmware of the fitted dvd writers without the need to remove the DVD writer from the duplicator system. This key feature is designed to help users ensure that their duplication system can be kept upto date without the need for the duplicator to be returned to us for service updates.
Most other duplication systems on the market do not support this key feature which means the duplicator's DVD writers have to be removed from the system and connected to a PC when firmware maintenance is necessary. This key feature saves our users time, money and also mimimises system downtime when updates are needed. |

Starmount attend Computex 2005 in Taipei (31st May - 6th June)
|
Computex is THE largest event in the I.T. industry's calendar, worldwide and is held once per year over a 5-day period in Taipei, Taiwan. Starmount sent a delegation of staff to assist Wytron for the duration of the show.
Wytron were excellent hosts and ensured that we were well looked after. Plenty of great chinese food and many late nights "socialising" ensured that we were completely exhausted by the end of our stay.
Computex is always a great time to exchange ideas and experiences with the rest of the Wytron family. Many thanks to the representatives from Hong Kong, China, Japan and the USA for supporting our ideas. Thanks to Wytron's CEO (the "big boss") for taking time out of his hectic schedule so that we could visit the factory and discuss our ideas for the future with him. |

Starmount Launch a range of Thermal Cooling Solutions
|
Today, we have launched a set of high quality cooling products. These products include cooled mobile racks for hard drives and various temperature & fan control panels.
The hard disc mobile racks are available in beige, black and silver finishes. They fit into a standard 5.25" bay and will accept a 3.5" IDE hard disc. They have fantastic cooling features, display the ambient temperature and monitor overheat & fan-fail. The ultimate cooling solution for those who wish to protect their data and helps maximise the life expectancy of your hard drive.
The temperature & fan control panels help lower the temperature of your devices, which helps to extend the life of your peripherals, whilst maintaining a good balance between fan speed and noise. The control panels display the temperature of up to four devices, control fan speed and can also detect overheat temperature & fan-fail.

After nine months of hard work, Starmount were assessed in early March 2005 to determine whether we met the stringent requirements of the highly prestigious and Nationally recognised "Investor In People" (IIP) Award.
Compliance with the demanding IIP standard was officially recognised on 24th March after our assessment was formally reviewed by the IIP Recognition Panel at the Centre for Assessment and Recognition (North West).
This achievement demonstrates the committment to our staff, their training and development. It puts fact and substance behind our claims of quality and all round excellence - which sets us apart from many other suppliers. |

Starmount announce launch of Wytron DVD-319 (1:3) and DVD-399 (1:9) CD DVD Duplicators

After two weeks of successful in-house product testing, Starmount announce two new Wytron duplicator controllers to the world.
The Wytron DVD-319 CD DVD duplicator can support up to 3 writers at higher DVD writing speeds than any of its predecessors. The new DVD-319 is a hybrid combining the best features of the DVD-299 & DVD-388 controllers. It offers Wytron's usual unrivalled quality at an excellent price to performance ratio.
The Wytron DVD-399 CD DVD duplicator controller is capable of supporting up to 9 writers at higher DVD writing speeds than its highly successful predecessor, the DVD-3000.
